Golf academy

For golfers considering coaching during a visit to Málaga province, Villa Padierna Golf Club’s academy is in Benahavís. Its offering brings together programmes adapted to the individual player and a personalised club-fitting service.

Coaching and methodology

The academy offers coaching programmes tailored to each golfer, rather than a single programme for everyone. That individual approach is the defining feature of its coaching provision and a useful starting point when considering the school.

David Alonso holds certification in the Stack & Tilt methodology. For visitors with an interest in that approach, his certification is a specific detail to note when looking at the academy’s teaching offering.

Personalised club fitting

Thomas Milone also offers personalised club-fitting services. This adds an equipment-focused service alongside the academy’s coaching programmes, distinguishing work on the player’s game from attention to their clubs.

For a golfer weighing up the academy at Villa Padierna, the key points are its player-specific coaching, Alonso’s Stack & Tilt certification and the club fitting offered by Milone.
