Golf school

The golf school at Club de Golf Valderrey in Zamora brings together the practical and sporting sides of learning the game. Its aim is to bring players closer to golf, with an approach that gives a place to camaraderie, strategy and sportsmanship alongside the technical foundations.

What the teaching covers

Classes cover the fundamentals of the swing and striking the ball. The scope also extends to the rules and competition, so the school's teaching is not confined to the physical act of making a shot.

For a golfer looking into the school, those subjects describe its focus: the technique used to play, the rules that govern the game and its competitive side.

The shared side of golf

Valderrey's school promotes camaraderie as part of learning the sport. Strategy and sportsmanship are also central to its stated aims. Together, these give the school an emphasis on understanding and sharing the game, as well as learning the swing and how to strike the ball.
