Croquet courts

For golfers interested in another activity at the club, Villanueva Golf & Croquet has croquet facilities in Puerto Real, in the province of Cádiz. These include an official court and a practice court, alongside equipment hire and a community willing to introduce newcomers to the game.

Courts and equipment

The two courts provide separate spaces for play and practice. Balls and mallets are available to hire, so the club’s croquet offering extends beyond the courts themselves to the equipment used on them.

Getting started

You do not have to approach the game without guidance: members of the club community are willing to teach people who would like to get started. For a visitor curious about croquet, that willingness to share the game is worth knowing about.

Croquet events

The club also organises croquet events, including the annual Bola Negra primary-balls tournament. Alongside the facilities and support for beginners, this tournament forms part of the club’s croquet calendar.
