Pitch and Putt Vendrell

Pitch and Putt Vendrell is in El Vendrell, in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia. For golfers planning a visit, its main offering is an 18-hole pitch-and-putt course designed by Laureano Nomen. The club also has a golf academy, restaurant and golf shop, and offers corporate events.

Native vegetation is a distinctive part of the setting. Carob trees and centuries-old olive trees stand out, giving visitors something to notice beyond the holes themselves. Water features on three holes, while the 13th is identified as the course’s most difficult hole.

The course

Listed as P&P Golf Vendrell, the course opened in 1993. It initially had nine holes, with the full 18-hole layout completed in 1995. Those dates mark separate stages in its development rather than a single opening of the course as it stands today.

For a first visit, the water hazards and the 13th are useful points to keep in mind when looking ahead to the round. The course’s character also comes from its planting: the native vegetation, particularly the carob and old olive trees, is as much a part of its identity as the golfing layout.

The clubhouse and other facilities

The clubhouse opened in late 1997, following the completion of the 18-hole course. It includes a restaurant and changing rooms. Its opening was another step in the development of the club, after the original nine holes and the subsequent expansion.

The restaurant is therefore part of the clubhouse offering, alongside the changing facilities. For visitors considering more than the round itself, the club’s other services include its academy and golf shop. Corporate events are also part of the offering, distinct from the course and its everyday golfing facilities.

Planning your visit

The location to look for is El Vendrell, Tarragona, in Catalonia. The golfing facility here is specifically a pitch-and-putt course, with 18 holes under the P&P Golf Vendrell name.

The academy, restaurant, golf shop and corporate events each have their own page in this guide. Together, they cover the club’s teaching, dining, retail and business-event offering. The course and these additional facilities are the main elements to consider when deciding what to include in a visit to Pitch and Putt Vendrell.
