Golf academy

At Golf Ciudad Real in Ciudad Real, the golf academy combines an extensive practice area with a beginner course and a junior school. Its teaching team includes José Manuel Caballero Fernández, a professional player and instructor qualified by the Real Federación Española de Golf.

Practice facilities

The academy has a natural-grass tee line, along with putting and chipping greens. These provide areas for practising shots from the tee, work around the green and putting. For golfers looking into the academy, the grass hitting area is a useful distinction from a practice setup based solely on mats.

Starting golf

The beginner course comprises six lessons of 55 minutes and two lessons of 115 minutes. The programme therefore uses two session lengths, rather than keeping every lesson to the same duration.

Junior lessons

For families considering golf lessons for children, the junior school organises classes by ability or age. Groups are limited to eight pupils, with age or playing level determining how children are grouped.
