El Chaparral Golf Academy

El Chaparral Golf Academy is part of El Chaparral · Chaparral Golf in Mijas, Málaga. For golfers looking into tuition during a visit, its programmes cover a broad range of experience, from complete beginners to professionals. Developing young talent is a particular focus.

Practice facilities

The academy has a driving range and a 1,000 m² putting green, together with short-game and bunker areas. These provide space for practice beyond the driving range, with dedicated areas for putting and play around the green.

The combination of facilities is worth noting when considering the academy: both range practice and the shorter shots have a place within its practice provision.

A progressive teaching approach

Tuition follows the academy’s own method, organised around seven pillars and a progressive approach to learning. This provides the framework for its teaching programmes, which extend from those taking up golf to players at professional level.

Alongside this range of levels, the academy places particular emphasis on young golfers and the development of their talent. Its provision therefore spans both an introduction to the game and learning for experienced players.
