Competitions and tournaments

Club de Golf La Cañada’s competition programme in San Roque, Cádiz, includes events for members and an internal circuit for golf school students. Monthly trophies, handicap cups and social tournaments are all part of the club’s competitive activity.

Members’ competitions

For golfers looking into the club’s tournament programme, the members’ events fall into three groups. Trophy competitions take place monthly, cups are played by handicap, and social tournaments complete this part of the programme. These are competitions the club organises for its members, rather than a separate programme for visiting golfers.

The golf school circuit

The school has its own internal competition circuit for children, juniors and students in its adaptive golf programme. School competitions therefore sit alongside the trophies, handicap cups and social tournaments organised for club members. The internal circuit is part of the school’s activity.

Ranking rules

Ranking competitions follow the regulations of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, the Real Federación Española de Golf. These regulations provide the framework for the club’s ranking events.
