Buenavista Golf

Buenavista Golf is in Buenavista del Norte on Tenerife, in the Canary Islands and the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. For a golfer planning a visit to the island, its clubhouse and practice facilities are useful starting points. The clubhouse looks out towards the Atlantic and the mountains, while the wider offering includes horse riding, events and a spa.

Practice facilities

The practice provision comprises a driving range, two putting greens and a chipping area. The chipping area is beside the clubhouse, giving visitors a clear reference point for that part of the practice facilities.

These spaces cover different aspects of a practice session. The driving range is the place to focus on longer shots, while the putting greens and chipping area provide separate settings for work on the short game. Golfers who want to divide their practice between putting and approach shots can keep both elements in mind when planning their time at the club.

With two putting greens alongside the other practice options, putting is a distinct part of the facilities rather than simply an addition to the driving range. The choice of areas allows a visit focused on practice to take in more than one part of the game.

Clubhouse and Pro Shop

Views of both the Atlantic and the mountains give the clubhouse its setting. For visitors getting to know Buenavista Golf, this is where those two features of the surrounding landscape come together.

The clubhouse also has a Pro Shop stocking items from leading brands. It is another part of the club to bear in mind alongside the practice areas, whether your interest is in the shop itself or in the facilities around the clubhouse.

Other reasons to visit

The club's services extend to equestrian activities, events and spa. Horse riding has its own entry in this guide, as do events and meetings and the YHI Spa.

These are separate strands of the club's offering, worth considering according to the purpose of your visit. A practice session, a horse-riding activity, a meeting or time at the spa each gives a different focus to a stay on Tenerife. Together with the clubhouse views and Pro Shop, they outline what Buenavista Golf offers beyond its golf practice spaces.
