About the area
For a golf trip to the Costa Blanca, start with the three towns represented in this guide: Altea, Dénia and Finestrat. All are in the province of Alicante, in the Valencian Community. The three listed clubs give you a starting point for planning both your golf and where to stay, whether you want to focus on playing, include some tuition or make use of facilities beyond the course.
Choose your base around your golf
La Sella Golf is in Dénia, Altea Club de Golf is in Altea, and Puig Campana Golf is in Finestrat. Before booking accommodation, map the clubs you want to visit and check the journeys between them. That lets you build your itinerary around the golf rather than fit every booking into a plan made beforehand.
Think about the time you want to give each visit, too. A session of tuition may call for a different schedule from a day of play, particularly when travelling with companions whose plans are not entirely centred on golf.
Three named nines at La Sella
La Sella Golf has 27 holes arranged as three nine-hole courses: Llebeig, Gregal and Mestral. These names are useful reference points when making enquiries. Ask which course your booking covers and how the day's play will be arranged, so you know what you are reserving.
Tuition and facilities beyond play
Altea Club de Golf lists an academy, restaurant and spa, as well as event services. Keep those facilities in mind if you would like to include learning or dining in your visit, or if golf is only one part of the trip.
Once you have chosen the town that suits your stay, confirm your golf booking and any services you would like to use directly with the club.
